I know, I have missed week 3 but lil' pumpkin butt was sick with a cold and we just didn't have time to blog :) He is on the road to recovery...just sounds like a little pig.

Time has flown by! We can't believe he will be one month old in 2 days! Life is great with him as an addition to our family!! We highly recommend it!!!!

(Eamon ) So in the past weeks we have celebrated Halloween at Kevin and Michelle's, went to Austin Grove's 1st Birthday, had a photo shoot for my announcements, watched a 49er game and dressed for the occasion, and had many excursions with Mom and Dad (they get a little stir crazy). Dad started work tonight and Grandma Diane is coming to stay with me and Mom tomorrow...I am so excited for all the attention!!!

I will try my hardest to let my Mom keep up on the blog...

I can't believe it has been two weeks! We are all adjusting...and have our very tired moments! Well, not Eamon because he sleeps ALL THE TIME! He has been a really good baby and lets Mom eat whatever she wants. I couldn't imagine my life without him...what did I used to do in all my spare time? Lil' pumkin butt scored his outfit from his Auntie Carol!

Well, we're surviving and today Eamon is one week old! Hard to believe I was pushing him out around this time last week!!! I have to say he has been a great baby...definitely Damien's offspring! Is it weird that I am excited he sleeps in 3 hour increments at night? Oh, the life of a mom!

He came into this world on Monday October 13th at 11:42 am. He weighed 8 lbs and is 20 inches long. This far he has been great to his Mom and Dad...he's hungry all the time! However, nighttime is challenging because he wants to play and that is clearly no time to play!
Hopefully I can keep you posted...I am lucky to get computer time now.

All in all we are one big happy family and so happy to have a healthy baby boy!

Baby Shower #2

I was so lucky to get another baby shower this last Saturday. Thank you Gina, Sasha, Marilyn, Mary, Michaela, and Maggie!! It was a beautiful day (only in our neighborhood!). The food was so yummy and it was so nice to visit with everyone. Pumpkin Butt thanks you!!!

My First Baby Shower- August 23rd

Jocelyn(the godmother) and Pam (the godmother's mother...so is that a grand godmother?) hosted my first baby shower. It was a beautiful day in Concord and the shower was fantastic! I couldn't have asked for a better day. Everyone there seemed relaxed and excited just like me. Thank you so much for giving me such a wonderful day!!

Why Blog???

I have been suckered into blogging because I thought it would be a great way to keep my nearest and dearest updated, especially with the impending birth of what we like to call " lil' pumpkin butt!!!" It is coming up close and we can't wait! My due date is October 12th (give or take...probably give!). My hope is I have time to blog and that you can periodically check to see what the latest is. Maybe I will even have this fantastic labor and blog during...ha! On the day of labor, it will more likely be the old fashioned phone tree. Thanks for being our friend and there are more details to come!!!
